What is the main purpose of the role?

Working alongside the General Manager and the sales team, you will be responsible for achieving budgeted accommodation and C&E revenue alongside minimum company standards of 85% in Revenue Audits and of conversion levels in C&E. This will involve developing a motivated team who are focused on conversion of enquiries, upselling at all opportunities and delivering excellent customer service at all times.

You will be expected to complete weekly revenue forecast and any other budgets or financial information when required as per company standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Sales Office Manager who is keen on being in a visible and trusted role, with a hunger to continually improve standards and business levels.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone that will bring with them a solid track record of achievement in the service or hospitality industry and a thorough understanding of hotel operating procedures.

To be successful in this role, great leadership skills are essential with the ability to manage and motivate people to create a hungry, pro-active sales environment.

You should also have a strong commercial awareness of the conference and events market coupled great planning and organisation skills; through this you will be able to look ahead and influence the property’s 3 and 5 year plans by setting demanding but realistic targets and methods of achieving them.
