Are you a highly motivated, flexible and organised individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service? If so, the prestigious Royal Automobile Club is looking for a Simms Centre Assistant to join our team and ensure the efficient running of the Simms Centre by handling all enquiries and requests professionally and efficiently and exceeding each member’s expectations at all times.

About this key role

Your primary focus will be to ensure the highest possible standard of service for all members. To achieve this, you will be expected to make sure members receive the best value for money when purchasing a product and to maximise usage, occupancy and revenue of the business centre promoting its facilities, products and services.

Answering the telephone promptly, using the proper telephone etiquette, and ensuring members are greeted in a friendly and warm manner, are both vital requirements of the role. You will also ensure the Simms Centre is kept clean and tidy at all times and that all member queries or complaints are passed on to the appropriate manager/supervisor immediately.

To secure this exciting opportunity

You will have at least 12 months’ experience working in a similar luxurious environment and have received comprehensive customer service and telephone techniques training. You will also possess a sound understanding of Opera/Fidelio systems, Word, Excel and Concept, as well as excellent typing and business-writing skills.

A good command of English is vital, as is the ability to multi-task, work effectively in a team and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
