As Food and Beverage Trainer you will be living and breathing the Malmaison Values & Priorities. You will be setting the example to all those you work with.

Reporting into the Group Training Manager you will develop close relationships with all departments, colleagues and managers within Malmaison.You will ensure all training activity is recorded and assist in ensuring that all team members and management receive the best induction and start into our business.

Making great experiences happen for our guests will be your top priority, doing whatever you can to ensure they get the top-notch service they deserve, every time.

This role will be 45 hours, 5 days from 7 flexible Monday to Sunday. 

You can be based from your nearest Malmaison Hotel but frequent travel and time away from home will be required. Our Hotels are spread from Aberdeen down to Brighton.

 

It is an exciting time to join Malmaison with 3 openings in the next 18 months in Edinburgh, York and Bournemouth.

You will (ideally!) have…

  • a background in a Hospitality having achieved the position of at least Assistant Manager within a fast paced F&B environment
  • a natural enthusiasm for customer service and relationship building
  • experience with delivering training
  • lashings of confidence when speaking to customers, team members and hotel management
  • a hunger to succeed and meet targets
  • be great at problem solving; using your initiative to head off complaints before they arise and communicating with the our management team, to ensure everything runs without a hitch
  • be able to find your way around a computer goes without saying, along with good listening skills
