We have an exciting opportunity for an office based Village Gym Sales & Service Advisor supporting all 29 Village Gyms to join our highly successful team at the Village Support Centre, where you will receive a competitive salary plus amazing benefits which include FREE parking, FREE membership to our state of the art gyms, excellent holiday allowance as well as discounted food & beverage and stays in our hotels.

As our Village Gym Sales & Service Advisor you will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding members’ and prospects’ expectations. You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the constant monitoring of our established brand standards. As a result you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You should have a can do attitude. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below.

As a Village Gym Sales and Service Advisor you will be:

Responsible for

People – support the Leisure Host Team in handling inbound web and telephone enquiries that will provide quality leads for membership sales. Outbound calls in relation to membership renewals and retention. Liaise closely with the Gym Team and colleagues in order to promote the product and experience effectively. Deal with complaints/problems politely and make every effort to resolve these. A Great Customer Experience – focus on precise aims and requirements of prospects and members and offer advice to match the package to the individual. You cater for all and ensure that our people, products and service are memorable as we build our reputation as the Leading Health & Fitness Brand. Product knowledge be commercial ‘savvy’ and aware of all promotional activities to ensure they are correctly implemented.  To have a clear understanding of the Village Gym product and what we can offer our members. Communications – clear and honest communication with our prospects and members regarding their membership, renewal or retention options.  Instil and sustain a culture of excellence married with appropriate levels of informality and fun. Gym Performance – meet all sales, retention and renewal targets and carry out effective calls, selling all benefits of Village Gym. Deliver results on an individual and team basis.

     

Accountable for

Great Service – assist members and prospective members in a friendly, courteous and professional manner which positively promote the brand. Deal with complaints / problems politely in a sympathetic manner and make every effort to resolve these. Teamwork – to build and maintain close working relationships to ensure the successful delivery of the team and department objectives and targets Sales & Retention - ensure that all revenue opportunities are maximised, conversion rate and other targets are achieved Target – Take ownership for your own KPI’s across sales, bookings, retention call handling and quality Customer Information – ensure that all relevant customer information is captured accurately and in a timely manner and is protected at all times Results – supporting the weekly, monthly, quarterly sales and retention plan implemented by the Senior Leisure Team. Ensure the minimum data is captured – name, address, date of birth, email address and mobile number. Quality – be fully aware of all promotional activities to ensure they are correctly implemented and actioned. Fully utilise the membership and prospect database ensuring that the data is always accurate. Maximum response time to an enquiry is 1 hour. Financial performance – fully adhere to the relevant sales and retention systems procedures. Deliver the membership and retention targets and ensure standards are adhered to. Treat the business as if it where your own. Administration carry out ad hoc administrative duties to support all areas of the Member Services department as required by team leaders, including but not confined to email, To Do’s, debt recovery, call overflow, white mail, web chat

Experience within a gym membership sales environment. Proven record of achieving results within a service environment. Results driven, with a sense of urgency about achieving objectives and a problem solving approach Understands how to deal with customer enquiries and complaints Personality – friendly and professional, rapport builder. Calm and assured under pressure. Passion for the Health & Fitness business. Can communicate ideas and facts honestly, clearly and persuasively. Self-motivated individual that can work with minimal supervision Understands the need for confidentiality. Professional and flexible with a “can do” attitude
