Responsibilities;

•Transfer City Ledger and Credit Cards daily from Guest Ledger to City Ledger
•Send Group and Transient invoices with respective back up information on a daily basis
•Collection all Debt by all means available to you (credit information (D&B), reminder letters, collection calls, collection visits etc.)
•Deal with Credit Card charge complaints along with Reception Manager
•Check PM and open folio accounts daily along with Reception Manager
•Verify Events and Groups daily charges, including auditing and checking for missing or un-posted bills
•Print monthly statements and send out
•Carry out a monthly review of every day and provide the necessary reports/detail on the debt outstanding and actions taken to date to be discussed with DOF
•Deal with any write offs according to write off policy (TBC)
•Maintain all City Ledger Profiles for accuracy and completeness
•Maintain and develop all policies and procedures with regards to accounts receivable
•Organise monthly credit meetings to review and discuss all debt
•Attend all necessary operational meetings (Ops weekly meetings etc.)
•On-the-job-training for cross training with other finance team members
•Perform audits as requested by Hotel Director of Finance
•Liaising with all internal and external customers
•Weekly meetings to take place with the Hotel FD to review and discuss the debtors.
•Drive process and change to improve the department’s efficiencies.
•Updates job knowledge by participating in educational/networking opportunities
•Ad hoc Project work
•Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.

•IT skills including experience of using Excel, Micros, Adeco or any other purchasing system.
