In this role you will be working for Valor Hospitality Europe which is part of a leading US hotel management company with over 17 properties in the UK operating a number of recognised worldwide brands and exciting expansion plans to add more hotels in the UK and Europe..

Main Duties

The Director of Food and Beverage role involves a range of duties, including the responsibility for the day to day operation of the Food and Beverage Service Departments comprising of: The Lock - kitchen, bar and deli. The signature Sky Lounge roof top bar and terrace. The operation of 19 meeting rooms, delivering both corporate and social banqueting. Alongside, managing all three kitchen operations in conjunction with the Executive Head Chef and leaders of the individual outlets.

The emphasis is on delivering efficient, professional and friendly customer service to create that memorable dining experience on every occasion. Upselling, attention to detail, training and motivating a team are all part of this role, together with rosters and the administration involved in running a key departments of the hotel whilst ensuring that the brand values and standards are delivered and budgeted profitability achieved.

Previous experience

The successful applicant must have previous experience at management level, in a high volume food & beverage operation, ideally of multiple outlets in a branded environment. Applicants must have experience of delivering high levels of customer service, proven Team Management. You should be able to work flexible hours, on any day of the week. Must possess financial and commercial awareness, have good knowledge of current legislation including Health and Safety, Food Safety, Liquor Licensing and Employment Law. The successful applicant must have proven experience in leading, motivating and developing Managers and Team Members.
