HR MANAGER  – MATERNITY COVER

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our HR team, at our central London Head Office for a period of 6 months, covering Maternity Leave. Supporting the restaurant management teams to ensure best practice is adhered to in all matters of Employee Relations, as well as overseeing monthly payroll processes, this is a key role within the HR department and is a role that is reporting to the HR Director.

You will be advising and coordinating processes related to Employee Relations to ensure that the business and its employees are protected and operating according to requirements. You will be providing advice that is risk based and commercially focused to ensure you are a facilitator and not an obstacle to action required when managing people matters. As with all positions, you are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.

You will oversee monthly payroll processes for both brands to ensure timely and accurate pay processes. This will be done in conjunction with a Payroll Assistant and requires working to strict deadlines. You will be reporting to the HR Director.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background with ER delivery and ideally experience within a multi-site hospitality or retail background.

Required skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good knowledge of employment law
• Good knowledge of ER processes and procedures, such as disciplinary and grievances, employment tribunals and equal opportunities employment
• Comfortable working autonomously and juggling several cases simultaneously
