Manager, Front Line People Services - Shore Based - Southampton

Carnival UK's People Team have recently been undergoing an exciting new transformation to change the way in which we work and serve the business and our customers in ways which are important to them.  We have created a new target operating model, understood required improvements to process and technology and designed a new organisational structure.   This is an exciting time to be joining us! The People Services team is a critical area of the overall People function accountable for providing exceptional end to end employee and crew lifecycle services underpinned by a strong service management and customer service ethic.

We are looking for a Manager, Front Line People Services who will oversee the delivery of professional advice, guidance and support to managers, officers, staff and crew for employee lifecycle processes. They will manage a team of People Services Advisors and work closely with the CSSI Manager (in Mumbai) to ensure alignment and consistency of service between Shore & Fleet, so that the delivery of HR transactional services is seamless and joined up throughout. The Front Line Manager will also be the escalation point for queries from Senior individuals, acting as the SMT concierge.

This person will:

• Be qualified to CIPD (minimum Level 5).
• Have a good understanding of HR Policies and Procedures.
• Execute professional judgment.
• Be analytically agile.
• Have strong business acumen.
• Have the Ability to drive results and manage risk.
• Deliver quality and strive for continuous improvement.
