The Receptionist role:

You will be providing all our guests with a warm welcome and looking after them in a friendly, professional manner on our Reception desk. You will check guests in and out and be responsible for taking payments and handling money You will be covering reservations and sales department enquiries out of office hours. Working hours are 40 hours per week, over five days which will include a mixture of shifts including weekends and evenings.

Please note the earliest you will start is 7am and the latest you will finish is 11:30pm so you must have your own transport. There may also be occasional night shifts to cover holidays.

What we need from you:

  • Have previous hotel experience in any department. Previous experience as a hotel receptionist is a distinct advantage.
  • Possess a 'can do' attitude, attention to detail and be able to use your own initiative.
  • Be computer literate, with a good telephone manner.
  • Have excellent customer service skills.
  • Have experience taking payments and handling money
  • Possess a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Have the ability to work under pressure, dealing with lots of information at once, and always with a smile on your face.
