We're looking for a Programme Manager for our Morgan Stanley Cabot Square site, with a passion for helping people improve their health.

About this Fitness and Wellbeing Role - Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day operations within the Centre. The supervision and implementation of all the fitness centre programmes, support services, policies and procedures.

Direct management responsibility for the fitness team and client services team, ensuring that the staff provide the highest level of exercise programming and customer service for all Morgan Stanley Clients.

Budgeting, invoicing and purchasing. Marketing, retention and membership management. Supporting the Morgan Stanley Wellbeing Programme, Sports and Social, and Charity groups. Health & Safety of the site. Health MOT Screening.

In the absence of the Assistant Programme Director, overall management of the onsite team, to include staff development and motivation, including massage therapy and client services team.

Skills Required

Excellent training, communication and customer care skills
Sound industry experience and a true passion for fitness and wellness
A strong fitness background with significant experience
working in a corporate/ commercial Fitness environment at a supervisory / managerial level
Competent IT skills
Proactive nature and the ability to work well within a team
A strong personality and willingness to learn and develop new skills
First Aid at Work (FAAW)
Dynamic and forward thinking
Excellent man management skills
Good all round creative management and leadership skills
Attention to detail in all areas of work
Ability to motivate and manage a large team
Reporting to Assistant Programme Director you'll be solely managing this Fitness Facility.

Fitness Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Values

As a qualified fitness instructor, you'll hold a Premier/Lifetime Diploma or equivalent. A sports science degree or HND is desirable.
You'll have a strong fitness background, with experience of working in a corporate or commercial fitness environment. You'll need to be a competent computer user with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Driven and passionate about all aspects of fitness and wellbeing, you'll take an enthusiastic and flexible approach.
You'll be a self-starter, able to work on your own initiative, and have a good eye for detail.
Like us, you put people first. You'll take the time to understand each individual client's needs and how to help them achieve their goals, whether they're recovering from an operation or training for a marathon.
It's important to proactively develop your knowledge, skills and understanding of issues relating to your role and attend training courses as required.
