We are currently looking for a Luggage Porter to join our busy Concierge department at the Royal Garden Hotel.
Whether it’s a VIP arrival, a large diplomatic visit or organising a guest’s holiday, working in Concierge in a 5 Star Hotel is all about knowledge and presence. Demonstrating the ability to multitask and read our guests needs, exceeding their expectations by delivering at short notice whilst sharing knowledge about the finest detail. Knowing what is happening in London, from new restaurant openings to what is being discussed in parliament is also paramount, as you never know what you will be asked. There are a number of different roles in the concierge department and each one is key to delivering excellence in service.
The Royal Garden Hotel is a 394 Bedroom five red star hotel located on Kensington High Street in easy walking distance to Kensington Palace and Hyde Park.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with outstanding customer service skills and a bubbly and outgoing personality. Previous experience in a customer facing role is essential, previous hotel experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a full, clean driver’s license. Knowledge of a second modern language would be an asset.
Our Concierge team work on a four on four off basis with shifts from 8am to 8pm. We have a designated nights team, but occasional night shift cover may be required.
