As a key member of the In Store POS Team leadership you will manage the in store events team in the development, delivery and implementation of market leading and customer focused in store events. The role will cover POS, sampling and experiential for all campaigns, seasonal and category events and branded media which aligns to our corporate priority of being “Famous for events”.

The Ins and Outs
Reporting to the Senior Manager- POS Implementation ASDA and George Fashion, you will be responsible for managing a team in the planning and execution of all Campaigns & Major Customer Events on time and to budget. The successful candidate should be an excellent people manager who prides themselves on delivering the best in class implementation for stores and customers.

You will be:Managing a team of 8 who deliver all Implementation of Campaign, Events, Branded and Experiential activity Responsible for the leadership and development of the team, ensuring key people processes are enacted and enforced (Appraisals and Talent management, Talent and Career development, Colleague Engagement through Your Voice and visible support for Colleague Voice)Work with the Customer Design team to drive integration of creative look & feel for In-Store Activation across all touch points in store as well as Packaging, Brand Comms, & Campaign Deliver the annual activity plan for Retailtainment & Sampling for both Asda and brands Deliver own label and branded sampling that drives brand and quality re-appraisal and is relevant to key customer momentsWork across all relevant marketing teams and commercial teams to ensure that activity is landing on time and to critical path Manage a multimillion £ budget with each campaign/event managed to agreed budget and reforecasting when necessaryManage the accurate reporting of project status across the whole area to provide transparent and accurate information and escalation as necessary through the Marketing Ops ProcessManage creative, print and activation agencies to drive efficiencies and deliver to budget to a high standardWork hand-in-hand with Retail Operations to deliver instore solutions that are right for stores
