Customer Services Team Leader – Edinburgh Cycle Hire

Inverness, Scotland

Full Time 39 Hours per week

Serco are proud to be providing a brand new cycle hire scheme with Transport for Edinburgh, following the success of running London Cycle Hire we will now be launching the service in Edinburgh. Its success will depend on the effectiveness of customer and community communications, providing a service that will be of high quality and easy to use.

 

The team of Customer Service Advisers will manage incoming and outgoing contact with customers and potential customers, including local residents, businesses, community organisations and tourists.  The ‘feel’ of communications will be very important to tie in with the brand values, so the team will be expected to be exceptionally friendly, helpful and supportive. These are values that you must drive within the team to be successful in delivering for the various customers they will come in to contact with.

 

The Customer Services Team Leader role is multi-faceted and includes supporting the daily running of the contact centre, ensure the office is operating to PCI compliant standards whilst leading the team to provideg exceptional standards of customer service to maximise cycles hired..

 

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in working in front line customer service roles where you have delivered a high quality customer service experience. The person in this role should also have experience of leading  and developing  team.. You will be a good communicator who can articulate themselves to build relationships with a variety of customers and the operational delivery team
