We have a fantastic opportunity for a creative and ambitious Digital Marketing Executive to join the Marketing Team at the award winning Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield.

The Resort, crowned England’s Leading Resort, England’s Best Conference Hotel and England’s Best Golf Hotel, is a world-class luxury leisure and business destination. The Belfry is also proud of its rich sporting history and heritage, hosting the Ryder Cup more than any other venue in the world.

The Digital Marketing Executive requires a high energy approach to building an online presence for The Belfry Hotel & Resort. Responsible for a range of online activities for the company ensuring positive perception of the brand across all key digital channels including website, email and social media as well as driving revenue and data acquisition through online campaigns.

Scope of the Role:

You will have experience in a Digital Marketing role. You will be responsible for the management of the company website making sure it is current and relevant. You will have great social media skills as you lead our social media presence reacting to company promotions and guest interaction.  You will manage the email marketing calendar for the resort ensuring targeted and timely communications to the database and have a flair for creative copy and headlines.

You will be responsible for the online marketing plan for all departments and deliver outstanding results to help drive revenue throughout the business. You will work to achievable deadlines and inform departments of activity dates and when it is live.

The ideal candidate will possess a hunger to produce a high quality of work in an environment that celebrates individual and team success. You will possess strong attention to detail when delivering material.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Responsibility for The Belfry Hotel & Resort website ensuring up to date content, imagery and promotions. Optimise performance to drive revenue and improve search rankings.
• Plan and execute a programme of engaging and timely updates across all social media channels driving likes, engagement and positive feedback.
• Deliver a programme of regular and targeted email communications to The Belfry database driving open rates, click throughs and revenue.
• Work with the Marketing Team to implement the marketing activity plan for each area including Spa, Golf, F&B, Weddings, B2B and Leisure.
• Grow marketing database through online mechanics and develop activities to gain new data and monitor effectiveness.
• Drive traffic by implementing relevant terms on the website for natural search.
• Support PPC implementation and performance.
• Ensure all third party sites are up to date with relevant content, imagery and links.
• Analyse and report on digital performance and produce a marketing monthly report.
• Efficient and timely liaison of external suppliers and internal contacts to ensure effective use of resources.
• Support other marketing activities as required and carry out other duties that may be required from time to time.

Experience Required:

• Strong understanding of content management systems, social media tools and email deployment.
• To be aware of the Hotel’s products and services and those of our competitors.
• Have an understanding of the hotels pricing philosophy, seasonality, need periods and periods of high demand.
• Ability to work on own initiative and part of a small team.
