Director of PR & Communications - Ennismore London

We are currently recruiting for an experience Director of PR & Communications to join us here at Ennismore. 

Reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer, Martina,you’ll manage a team of three; PR Manager, Social Media Manager and Content Editor. You’ll be responsible for owning the PR & Comms strategy across The Hoxton, Gleneagles, NoCo and Ennismore Restaurants.

We want you if....

You have over 10 years experience in a PR role, working on hospitality and/or lifestyle brands.

You are a storyteller, you know what audiences engage with and you have strong understanding of culture across art, fashion, design, food, tech and beyond.

You have a passion for hospitality and a thirst for knowledge.

You jump out of bed every morning, fizzing with energy and jazzed about what you’re doing today.

You get us. You know our hotels, you’ve hung out in our bars and possibly regretted that last cocktail the next morning.

You are humble.  There are no egos, and no dramas.

You’re a natural networker with a black book of varied media contacts that’s filled to the brim.

You know the importance of relationships, you can read a room (and work it!) and you know how to adapt your comms for different people.

We don’t go in for strict job descriptions, we all like to get involved, however to give you just a taste

Develop and execute a PR and social media strategy to support the business and brand objectives of Ennismore, The Hoxton, Gleneagles and our restaurants.

Set a long-term vision and content plan that positions each of our brands as forward thinking and builds our reputation as industry leaders.

Ensure constant coverage for Ennismore and our brands in key publications by creating stories and interesting angles for media.

Keep track of media trends and hospitality news, from new magazine launches to competitor’s PR stunts.

Oversee the Content Editor and Social Media Manager to ensure all content is on brand, engaging and creative.

Write press materials and interviews. Understanding the difference in tone and messaging for each of our brands.

You will have at least 7 years experience in PR preferably hospitality. You’re copy writing skills will be second to none. Ideally, you’ll know all the key editors by name. You’ll be able to work a room, sell in a story and you’ll get a little bit too excited over coverage. 

Keep multiple plates spinning – we’re pretty fast paced around here and like to keep a handful of projects on the go at the same time.

Contribute to and help to shape the influencer strategy across all the brands.

Manage PR agencies when needed to ensure they are effective and utilized.

Research hot topics and trends to ensure content is relevant and provokes thought.
