Job Details
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Banqueting Assistant who is ready to join the enthusiastic Banqueting & Events team here at our Pall Mall clubhouse in London. If you can demonstrate a genuine interest in people and customer service, experience working within a similar role or a willingness to make a role in banqueting the next step in your career, this is a wonderful opportunity. Due to the calibre of clientele that frequent the Club, previous experience of working within a high end hospitality establishment would be advantageous.
The role:
As Banqueting Assistant you will maintain the highest standards of service and hospitality at all times, including preparing the banqueting rooms to agreed Club standards prior to service. You’ll ensure all rooms are clean and tidy and carry out a range of daily duties as part of your role. These will include:
- Preparation/ setting up, safe operation, storage, safe handling and care of venue Conference and Banqueting audio/visual equipment.
- Service and breakdown Conference and Banqueting rooms as directed, which will involve moving furniture as required/directed.
- Ensure all storage areas for equipment are kept in a safe and tidy condition.
The Person:
Our successful candidate will ideally possess experience in a similar luxurious establishment, and be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a face-face customer service role/similar role.
- A strong command of the English language.
- Excellent presentation and strong team working skills.
