Swimming Teacher - Wellingborough

Part Time Swimming Teacher (ASA Level 2 or STA equivalent)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a swimming teacher to join our team based in Wellingborough.

You will be involved with teaching a range of abilities and ages to develop swimming skills and technique in group and 121's lessons.

£17.50 per hour on a freelanced/ self employed basis. 

• Level 2 ASA Swimming Teacher Qualification (or STA equivalent)
• Must hold a National pool rescue award for swimming teachers or equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of all aspects of pool health and safety.
• Proactive in dealing with parents and any enquiries
• Professional, punctual and well-organised person responsible for the implementation, development and organisation of swimming classes
• The ability to encourage people and put them at ease
• Be able to work from ASA Learn to Swim Framework.
• Plan and deliver sessions appropriate to the level of swimmer
• Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming technique
• Correct faults in swimming techniques and identify ways to improve performance
• Must be able to complete an enhanced DBS check.
