We are looking for a Membership manager to come and join our team, if you are passionate about fitness and creating active places for healthy people, this could be the role for you.

What your role will be

As our new Membership Manager you will be responsible for driving membership sales ensuring compliance to company standards and maintaining brand image. You will also monitor the sales team’s performance to set KPIs and work with the customer advisor team to exceed targets. 

Whilst working closely with the Marketing manager and Health and Fitness manager you will create promotion plans to maximise sales and marketing opportunities. You will also play a key role in membership attraction, and retention ensuring prospects and members are given the best possible experience of our facility. You will be promoting excellent customer care and public relations with the wider team.

You will empower your team, ensuring they become subject matter experts with a supreme level of product knowledge on all aspects of our facilities and our customers’ needs.  This will include making sure administration and systems are kept up to date and compliant.

Your background

You will have experience working within a sales and target driven environment. Previous experience with membership sales would be highly beneficial. You will a motivated, enthusiastic, passionate individual and inspire these attributes in the team around you.  Commitment to our common goal ‘To create active places and healthy people’ is essential.

You will have line management experience and carry out associated tasks including recruitment, training and development.

Customer service is at the heart of this role and you will build relationships and rapport with potential customers to gain insight and leads.

There will be a requirement to work evenings and weekends to ensure that all customers’ needs are met and that all staff can be communicated with during their hours of work.
