If you’re passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-pace busy restaurant then look no further; The Pearson Room is looking for an energetic and service driven waiter/waitress to join us in one of the most contemporary and fashionable cocktail Bar and Restaurant’s which Canary Wharf has to offer. You will be a passionate, enthusiastic and charismatic individual able to deliver premium service with excellent standards; we are looking for someone who can deliver a 5 star service, giving the customer journey a great experience and ensuring that their expectations are always met, if not exceeded.

About the role:

As a waiter/waitress you will be responsible for ensuring that a professional level of service is delivered at all times. Within this requirement, you will need to be fully conversant with every dish and beverage served in the restaurant, and be able to provide detailed explanations and recommendations if required by the customer. We are looking for a proficient communicator, with both strong written and verbal skills so that day-to-day tasks of processing orders are always accurate and that the procedure appears seamless for the customer.  The ideal candidate will be able to manage difficult conversations and take care of any negative feedback by  proactively addressing this with the customer to ensure a positive outcome is reached.

As well as being a customer-facing role, you will also be required to roll-up your sleeves and ensure that the restaurant and stations is always clean and clear throughout the service and that the cleaning is performed to a high standard.

The shift rota requires availability for a start as early as 06:00 and a close as late as 00:00, so you’ll need to be able to accommodate this.
