Job Summary:

The reservations supervisor is vital in the day to day operations for Signature Living. They outline the key tasks and responsibilities of all the sales teams keeping a firm grip on the core standards that are embedded in the DNA of Signature Living. They are Responsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales activities of the company in a designated area to achieve sales objectives.

The right candidate will project manage all new sales initiatives are scheduled in throughout the year using an events calendar and all teams in all properties are aware.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Grow the business in all areas of sales via Reservations
• To assist the reservations manager in training and developing team
• Develop strong local product and competitor knowledge.
• To arrange and prepare for Reservations Meetings alongside the 45#.
• To ensure CRM system is up to date and has a 24hr turn around daily.
• To keep team updated on a daily basis of revenue, targets and covers for restaurants.
• Regular updates of sales on board Reservations Team.
• Maintaining good relationships with all other Signature Teams.
• Day to day supervision of the Reservations team.
• Live and breathe the Signature sales process being the fountain of knowledge for the team
• Ensure the guest service is delivered as per the sales expectations.
• To ensure the team are supervised and managed in the absence of the reservations manager
• To ensure the team are responding to email, social media, voicemails and online chat enquires and converting the enquires into sales in allocated times
• Oversea Travel Agent booking processing
• Oversea the social media sales team
• In and out bound calls, ensuring minimum call standards are achieved
• Pro-active upselling at all times, generating enquiries for the restaurant, bar, spa and events departments
• Ensure all payments and credit card details are accurately recorded and processed.
• Manage the hotel reservations database
• Achieving & exceeding sales & upsells KPIs and targets

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• Previous experience in a similar role
• experience of planning and implementing sales strategy and technical sales skills
• knowledge of market research
• relevant product and industry knowledge
• solid understanding of digital sales platforms
• excellent written and verbal communication skills

• formal presentation skills
