JOB SUMMARY

An exciting senior sales position has come available within the Marriott Country Club Cluster! We are looking for a determined and ambitious individual to join our cluster sales team!

Based at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Warwickshire, The Cluster Senior Event Manager is responsible for supporting the hotels within Country Club cluster. To act as trainer, mentor and overall support both at the base property and by travel to different sites when required as directed by the Cluster Director of Sales.

Support will comprise of the following;

Overseeing events teams and drive the execution of company standards to ensure that the events teams deliver a seamless process from initial enquiry to post event as well as responding to and managing incoming enquiries and repeat sales.

Manage the training and mentoring of new and existing associates at both Senior Event Manager and Event Executive level for each property

It is essential to be available when required to work at specific properties for a period of time

Flexibility in travel is vital to this role.

Contribution to the financial reporting, analysis and forecast activity

Recognises and explores opportunities to maximise revenue, conversion and drive repeat business.

Supports and acts on behalf of the Director of Event Management or Director of Event Planning and Operations in his/her absence.
