A great opportunity to join our fast paced Supply Chain team in the role of Team Leader.  This role includes line management of a small team and will be responsible for the output of this team, whilst also supporting with completion of the day to day activities of the team.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that CUK’s suppliers are being paid on time and with minimal intervention through effective purchase order management. This includes resolution of blocked invoices, root causing the reasons why invoices are going on hold and not being paid to terms, and then improving processes to prevent recurrence of the same issues and improve key KPI. Ensuring business users understand how to use our systems correctly to prevent invoice holds and enforcing compliance with these processes.  This role will drive the use of purchase orders across the business, working with stakeholder is various departments to increase the percentage of spend via PO.

About you

• Experience of working within a KPI driven improvement
• Experience of root causing and developing, implementing and improving new processes and best practice
• Collaborative approach, able to understand stakeholders needs and perspective
• Line management experience
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Experience working with Purchase Order systems e.g. SAP, Oracle
• Understanding of accounts payable and financial processes
