Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. This vital role is responsible for preparing and producing food to the highest standard while maintaining excellent food hygiene and Health and Safety practices. You will also play an important part in supporting the Kitchen Manager to maximise profits and reduce wastage at all times.

In order to be a great Kitchen Assistant at YHA we are looking for people with:

• Previous experience of working within a commercial kitchen
• Experience of working in high pressured environments

Additional Information:

06.30- 15.30 and 12.00-22.00 pm varied Must be available to work evenings and weekends and be capable of lone working at times. Must be used to high volume food delivery and be aware of all H&S and food safety legislation.
