Salary: 30,000.00 - 34,000.00 (with a bonus on top)
Location: Mitre (W11 3QY)
Recruiter: Metropolitan Pub Company
Job id: req1127

The Mitre W11 is a buzzy brassiere style pub is situated on leafy Holland Park Avenue, a stone's throw from the park itself and the tourist hot spot that is Notting Hill. We have a busy sunny terrace for the summer months and warm relaxing environment inside for cooler times. The bar is
busy all day with morning coffees right the way through to cocktails and bubbles in the evening.

You'll work with the general manager to run the pub, hire, train and develop the team, plan events and take charge of everything when the general manager's away. You've already worked as an assistant manager in a busy pub for at least a year, and we're keen to know what you've learnt.
But it's more than that.

We're much more interested in who you are and what you're really like. What are you like to work with? How do you rally a team? Are you calm when things don't go to plan? What makes you laugh? We want to get to know you and your way of doing things. And find out how you can bring them to Mitre (W11 3QY).

What's in it for you?

- A salary up there with the best of the rest (with bonus on top).
- The chance to move on to managing your own pub.
- Discount at the pub and our sister pubs.
- The chance to run and develop a business.
- Parties and events with other management teams.
- Top-class management leadership programme.

Who are we, anyway?

We're Metropolitan Pub Company (or Metro Pub Co for short). We're part of Greene King, but they leave us to it. We're big believers in local pubs being just that, with their own character and charm. We've got over 60 pubs in and around London: neighbourhood locals, city pubs and foodie ones. They're all different - run by their managers, not a boardroom - and we like it that way.
