Maintenance Operative (General Hanyperson) - Royal Garden Hotel, London
The Royal Garden Hotel is one of the UK’s largest five red star hotels comprising of 394 bedrooms, three bars, two restaurants, extensive conference and events spaces and a health club. Priding itself on providing a tailored personalised guest service, the Royal Garden Hotel is located next door to Kensington Palace and some of London’s most famous attractions. The hotel also has a rich and remarkable sporting legacy dating back to the famous World Cup win of 1966.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry/maintenance procedures and tasks and Health and Safety awareness. You will be a strong communicator, driven and computer literate.
You will be part of a large multi-skilled team to contribute towards providing a 5 star service to hotel guests.
Part of your duties will be:
- Fitting locks
- Furniture repairs
- Door closures
- Ad hoc employee and guest maintenance requests
- Assisting all members of team in given tasks
You will be using:
- Hand held Power tools
- Bench Saw
- Small tools
This is a Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm role, althopugh some weekend coverage may be required.
You need to be a good communicator, be very well presented and able to work on your own initiative. A good command of the English language is essential.
You MUST be eligible to live and work FULL TIME in the UK. This position is based on 40 hours per week. Occasional shift cover may be required.
