Sports Experience Assistant - Climbing Instructor - City Campus Newcastle
Part time 18 Hours per week | £16,929 - £18,777
The Sport Experience Assistant is Northumbria Sport’s key customer facing role and will ensure all of our customers are provided with an outstanding customer experience every time.
Whilst Sport Experience Assistants will have a ‘nominated’ area they will be flexible and perform a variety of customer facing roles within a sport facility or service area and ensure maximum facility use is optimised at all times.

The nominated area for this role is Climbing Instructor:
- To deliver climbing coaching and supervision including lead climbing as training and qualifications allow.
- To maintain climbing facilities, and update climbing routes on a regular basis as training and qualifications allow.
To apply for this role, it is essential that you possess a current, nationally recognised indoor climbing instructor qualification and route setting qualification.
Please note the shift pattern for this role is a one week fixed rota of:
Monday 17:00-21:00, Tuesday 17:00-21:00, Wednesday 17:00-21:00, and Sunday 09:00-15:00
