The Restaurant Manager role:

The Restaurant Manager oversees all aspects of our Wild Carrot Restaurant.

The manager must maintain and control an exceptional level of guest service, by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the restaurant staff who have a high level of knowledge and expertise. 

The Restaurant Manager is also responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining of the staff, and handling of financially related matters for both outlets. The Restaurant Manager role is a department Head role.

The ideal Restaurant Manager candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any task – personifying luxury guest service. The role is both administrative and also 'The Face' of the restaurant, and the ability to combine both roles is essential.

Previous experience within luxury hospitality environment at a similar level required.

The following skills are essential:

  • A thorough knowledge of guest service, cost control, and labour control.
  • Excellent food and beverage knowledge and the passion to educate others on this.
  • Strong managerial/leadership skills are essential.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is also required.
