The Assistant F&B Manager - Fine Dining & Events is a superb opportunity for a dynamic assistant manager to work at this prestigious Private Members Golf Club.

Loch Lomond Golf Club is all about exceeding expectations with our high standard of food and service offered to our members. The Assistant F&B Manager - Fine Dining & Events would be responsible for running and overseeing the extensive fine dining and hospitality events at the Golf Club. This role is best suited for a proactive assistant manager that is hands-on, has an eye for detail, passion for food and people and has worked within a prestigious environment. The business requires someone with energy and motivation that is flexible, leads by example and offers faultless service to the members.

Duties & Responsibilities:-

Responsible for coordinating and overseeing all hospitality for the meeting and private dining rooms.

Maintaining consistently excellent service at all times, and ensuring your team does the same

Have a hands-on approach with the daily running and the operation to include engaging with customers and build a great relationship with the members.

Responsible for rota’s, recruitment, training & development of staff and appraisals

Experience with IT systems for daily events and functions

The role of the Assistant F&B Manager - Fine Dining & Events will include financial responsibility, attending meetings, ordering and stock control.

This role requires nothing less then excellent leadership, communication and written skills and a dynamic personality with presence.

Qualifications and Experience:

1-2 years previous experience at a senior level position in a similar role is required for this demanding position.

Excellent knowledge of food and wine, able to make recommendations to guests confidently and appropriately

You must have previous experience in a similar style of fine dining property to at least a 3AA Rosette level and will preferably have some Michelin experience too

Management and or Food and Beverage qualifications are essential for this position

Extensive knowledge of the F&B industry would be desirable

Immaculate presentation, outgoing personality, excellent communication and customer service skills are required for this highly visible role.

A “can do” attitude, able to run this operation to military precision at all times.

You will have a hands-on approach, a positive attitude and the ability to train and motivate those around you, as well as the confidence to deal with some very demanding and high profile clientele.
