Business Development Manager (Leisure Sales) - The Marylebone Hotel, London

An exciting opportunity is now available for a passionate and experienced Leisure Sales professional to join our Head office in London as Business Development Manager for Leisure Sales EMEA.

Working alongside the three London Directors of Sales and reporting directly to the group Head of Sales, you will be responsible for maximising all sales and revenue opportunities in the Leisure market by introducing new business opportunities for the group and effectively account managing our key leisure clients. In addition, you will be responsible for recommending, planning and delivering an integrated leisure sales strategy for London.

The ideal candidate will be working in the luxury sector in a proactive sales position with knowledge of the London leisure market. As frequent travel across the UK, US, Ireland and Europe is required for the role, flexibility and a willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis is key. 

We are now accepting applications from experienced Business Development Managers to join our team.  

Key requirements:

  • Manage and develop key high-rate leisure accounts, providers and partners
  • Develop and manage a number of key industry partnerships to deliver the desired business mix
  • To source new high-rated leisure business locally and internationally
  • To measure the effectiveness of all leisure sales strategies against specific KPIs
  • Maintain and develop an excellent understanding of the US and European leisure markets
  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of trends and best practices and internally communicate these finds
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to maximise the distribution of all offers, promotions and packages
  • Lead leisure sales relationship with Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) partners, maximizing usage of database and joint sales efforts
  • Identify sales opportunities for members of The Doyle Collection portfolio
  • Represent The Doyle Collection at all relevant trade events and exhibitions and workshops with industry bodies ie. ETOA, UK Inbound, London & Partners, Visit Britain
  • To be an ambassador of The Doyle Collection at all times, representing the company and its core values with the utmost professionalism
