Casual Waiter - Conference & Events - The Langham, London

The Langham, London is currently looking to recruit Casual Waiters in our Conference & Events department. The Conference & Events team caters to modern business needs, affording clients with seamless service, anticipating every requirement with flexibility and flair as well as skills honed with service that has spanned three centuries. From intimate gatherings in the charming Private Carriage Rooms or state-of-the-art Meetings Rooms to extravagant banquets, you will look to deliver magical occasions for our clients, be it breakfast meetings, conferences, canapé receptions or special celebrations.

As a Casual Waiter, your main duties and responsibilities will be:

• setting up meeting spaces according to clients’ needs
• serving food & beverage to the clients
• preparation of relevant mise-en-place for service
• delighting guests with your charm and elegance

This is a ‘0’ hour contract and your hours of work will be dependent on our business volumes.

Requirements

The ideal Casual Waiter will have:

• previous experience in a similar 5* environment
• flair, passion and a conscientious attitude
• excellent focus on customer service
• flexibility to work different shift patterns
