Asda are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join Asda Technology based in George House in Lutterworth in Leicestershire. You will be required to work on a complex systems transformation programme for the George side of the Asda business. This not only means building brilliant relationships with suppliers who have the best products and designing some of the country's popular trends, it's about providing colleagues with the right systems to do this in the most ethical, sustainable and efficient way.

Core Capabilities
  • Drive and manage stakeholders to define, elicit, analyse, prioritise and document quality requirements
  • Collaborate with key technical stakeholders e.g. Solution Architects to ensure approved requirements (functional and non-functional) are accurately reflected in technical and testing artefacts
  • Challenge appropriately where requirements are not obviously satisfied and lead negotiations with team members to resolve any conflict
  • Assist QA teams to define and execute testing requirements e.g. test scenario and script writing, review and execution
  • Manage the traceability of all requirements (functional and non-functional) throughout the project lifecycle, including changes as a result of defects and CR's
  • Support the advancement of the Business Analysis Practice through being aware of Innovation in industry and global standards and recommending improvements to the function.
  • Coach other team members on the Business Analysis Practice e.g. tools, techniques, methods and processes

  • Strong workshop facilitation skills
  • Variety of modelling/analysis tools, methods and standards e.g. Use Cases, User Stories, Business Process Modelling, Requirements Traceability Management, Process Mapping, Jira, Agile Ceremonies
  • Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid methodology and project lifecycle experience
  • Strong requirement elicitation techniques
