About Us:
XU is a stylish, upscale and refined restaurant with an exciting menu that reflects the quality of locally-sourced ingredients. The 75-cover restaurant is split over 2 floors and the restaurant interiors are a reinterpretation of a cinematic set in 1920s Taipei, Shanghai. What we expect from you and the role
As Commis Chef, you will be responsible preparing the mise en place for the Chefs de Partie, and assisting them in producing outstanding and creative dishes, using fresh local ingredients and innovative recipes, that wow our guests.

If you have the following, then we want to hear from you:
• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or other food preparation role (beneficial but not essential);
• A keen interest in Taiwanese cuisine, with a willingness to learn and develop with us;
• Creative nature with excellent attention to detail;
• Passionate about hospitality and willing to learn new skills;
• Personable, motivated and an enthusiastic team player.
