ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Head Chef to oversee one of our London stores. We currently operate 3 stores and a 4th opening later this year. As Head Chef you will be a natural leader who communicates clearly and confidently with their teams. You will be responsible for driving quality and consistency of the all day food offering and working alongside the operational team to maintain high levels of service. You will be responsible for budgets and margins as well as H&S within the kitchen. Passion for organic and sustainable food is essential.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Head Chef who is an excellent people manager as well as a talented Chef. An ability to coach and develop teams is a must. You must be approachable with the ability to think on your feet. Set clear targets for your teams and manage their performance accordingly, delivering on-going feedback and training as required. You’ll have a great technical understanding of nutrient rich foods and their preparation. You must be highly organised and have meticulous standards. Understanding of foods relationship to Health and Wellbeing is key.
SECTION 3 – RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive consistency of allday food offering within store
- Ensure menus are delivered to spec
- Champion daily specials using seasonal products from the farm
- Champion organic seasonal produce and delivering it’s full potential
- Maintain a high standard of customer service
- Deliver kitchen KPIs
- Manage budgets and margins
- Training and Development of kitchen team
- Work in conjunction with store General Manager and Management team to deliver business goals
- Ensure all store comply to Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation
