Chefs - Great Notley

Full Time / Part Time Chef
We are currently recruiting for a talented, guest focussed individual to join us as an Chef at our yet to be named Great Notley site.

A new acquisition to the McMullen estate, to open in 2018 with an amazing design post a refurbishment. The site has been closed for 9 Months and will undergo extensive works prior to opening in the spring. The site sits tucked away in a housing estate next door to the village hall, a Tesco and some local shops/doctors and nursery. There is significant local housing development in the local area too.
There will be +140 dining covers inside, a nice bar area, added to the 80 covers outside in the enclosed sun-trap terrace overlooking the village green and cricket pitch.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Preparing and serving our menu to a high standard as per Company specification to ensure our guests return again and again
• Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards within the business and completion of Company paperwork with regards to such standards
• Receiving deliveries and maintaining the correct storage of food
• Maintaining and clean and safe kitchen environment

The right person will have a positive hands on approach, good communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Previous experience of working within a busy kitchen is essential however further training and development will be given in house and also in our Development Kitchen in Hertford.  You will need to be eligible to work in the UK with a valid UK bank account and NI number.
