Trainee Assistant Manager
We are currently recruiting for a talented, guest focussed individual to join us as an Trainee Assistant Manager at this friendly and locally known pub.


Do you love delivering great service and being part of a fun and friendly team? Great!  We are recruiting for a full time Trainee Assistant Manager to join us at the White Swan. The White Swan is one of the most recently acquired properties by McMullen & Sons and will open as such in September 2017.

Situated on the corner of Vauxhall Bridge Road and Causton Street, The White Swan has been trading as a public house since 1759 and is steeped in local history. The pub overlooks the Thames river where years previous a boat would dock taking prisoners from Millbank prison to Australia from the UK. Today the pub boasts a fantastic location in Victoria just a few minutes walking distance from Tate Britain, The Thames river and Westminster.

Key Assistant Manager Responsibilities

  • Exceeding guest expectations daily
  • Leading the team to deliver outstanding service
  • Coach and guide new Team Members
  • All aspects of cash and stock control
  • Management duties including dealing with bookings/functions, rota planning, cellar management, and deputising in the Managers absence

Previous experience at Assistant Manager level is essential however further training will be given through the McMullen Gold Award.
