Buffet Kitchen Manager at Croydon

JRC Global Buffet Restaurant is the one of largest buffet chain restaurant in the UK. Currently, our
Croydon branch looking for great talent to lead our kitchen team work better together. As the
Kitchen manager you will work together with BOH Senior Chefs, keep close communication with FOH
managers. Your daily work will directly report to the Branch Owner. You will get management
support and suggestion from our Group Consultant Executive Chef. Ideally, the successful candidate
will be great have culinary or management experience. The job requires approximately 48 hours per
week and must able work in the weekend.

Responsibilities
- Order supplies, food and ingredients based on daily operational demand
- Kitchen paperwork, e.g. HACCP records and B.O.H. personnel details record.
- Support BOH recruitment staff, and help Senior Chef training new staff in specific stations,
and cross-train as necessary
- Create schedules for BOH staff to ensure there are always enough workers to meet the
demand, particularly for the weekend rush
- Maintain inventory levels and conduct full weekly inventory
- Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances
- Assist the Restaurant Managers with menu changes and adjustments based on seasonal
availability
- Assist Restaurant Managers or personally respond to guest questions and complaints
- Assist Chef with food quality, costs and wastage control.

Experiences
- 1+ years’ catering management experience
- Strong stock controls knowledge.
- Understanding of HACCP system. Food safety L 3 required.
- Ability to work under JRC group speed pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Capable of conducting and assessing restaurant inventory
- Willing to work a flexible schedule
- Experience with delegating tasks and maintaining fast speed of service
Salary and Benefits
- £ 20-22,000 per year TBC (48 hours a week)
- T1 or T5 Work permit visa providing if needs.
