To contribute to the success of our Rivea restaurant we are developing our Food & Beverage team with people who demonstrate excellence in their profession, authenticity in their service and integrity in the decisions they make.  We are currently inviting applications for the position of  Chef de Rang to join our team and be a part of our restaurant, serving guests with dishes from a menu inspired by the vibrant food markets of Italy and Provence.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will deliver informal yet impeccable service to complement the chic, convivial and relaxed setting of Rivea London. You will have a passion for food and an understanding of beverages to accompany the dishes. Although comfortable sharing this knowledge with our guests to enhance their experience, equally you will demonstrate initiative in understanding when a more discreet and efficient service is required. You will be responsible for supervising Commis de Rangs to develop their passion for service excellence and detail.
 

Successful applicants will have gained food and beverage service experience working in a five star establishment and/or a destination restaurant. You are likely to have relevant NVQ or professional qualifications and a good working knowledge of food safety and hygiene.  You will possess good interpersonal skills and be competent in both written and verbal communication. Importantly, it is your ability to deliver genuine and authentic hospitality which sets you apart from other applicants.
 

We encourage a diverse workforce however you will be required to have good levels of written and spoken English and be eligible to work in the UK. Fluency in a second language would be beneficial.
