About The Role

The Technology (Service Delivery) Function

Our service delivery teams ensure that colleagues are able to access the hardware and software to needed to do their jobs well. Every day is different, from setting up equipment for new joiners and troubleshooting ad-hoc issues to business partnering to understand future requirements and working with procurement to secure competitive rates.  

The team handle dozens of requests on a daily basis. Depending on where you are placed for the summer internship, your focus could be on supporting colleagues remotely and at their desks, or you could be working to plan and implement the infrastructure to get a new site operational. The Technology team pride themselves on anticipating and being responsive to business needs, working collaboratively, challenging the status quo and innovating in all that they deliver. 

The Summer Internship

During the 8 week summer internship you will gain an invaluable insight into our business, whilst developing your own skills and capabilities. Following a two day company induction, you will be working day to day as a fully integrated team member and also working as part of an intern group to address a ‘live’ business challenge.

The summer intern cohort also attend weekly ‘Lunch & Learn’ sessions to discover more about the breadth of our business and career opportunities. Interns are also encouraged to meet our most senior leadership and are equipped from the outset with personal impact training.

Your time on the summer internship is supported by a dedicated line manager and HR support. Clear objectives are set at the outset, with developmental conversations and one to one meetings provided on a weekly basis.

The summer internship programme also provides some memorable social and community events, ensuring you build strong relationships with your peers and that we contribute positively within the local community.

If you are successful on the summer internship, we aim to offer you a position on the 2019 Graduate Programme intake.

You must be due to graduate in 2019 to apply for the 2018 Summer Internship You must be applying from a IT / technology related degree or be able to evidence a strong personal interest in IT / technologyYou must be willing to complete the Summer Internship based in London or Gibraltar.
