About the role:

George is currently the 2 nd largest clothing retailer in the UK by volume and has a fast growing home range. We are now recruiting for a talented and highly motivated Activity Assistant to be part of our George.com team, based at either our George Home Office in Lutterworth, Leicestershire or Asda House, Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the planning of activity across George.com. The role demands a flexible, highly organised individual with strong influencing skills and a keen eye for detail.

The role :

To put the customer at the heart of everything we deliver across George.com
Key driver in the delivery of activity, promotions and events across George.com, ensuring we maximise the conversion and sales potential of all activity.
Build the weekly activity plan for George.com using various inputs including Google search data, the Corporate Marketing activity plan, online range launches & trends, ensure it is updated and adheres to the brand guidelines.
Pull together briefs for the Creative team to deliver activity, ensuring we have the best customer journeys, product nominations and are legally compliant.
Be the central point for managing onsite promotional activity, ensure all teams adhere to the critical paths, we have the best onsite experience and are legally compliant.
Work with the Online trade teams to decide themes and product nominations for George.com marketing channels such as emails & social. Then be the central point to brief the Marketing teams and deliver activity.
Be the central point of contact for the marketing team to ensure we get the right level of support for activity on George.com.
Be a key player in a cross functional team with marketing, online trading, supply and creative teams to launch activity, managing the critical path and holding teams to account for delivery, to ensure on time delivery of excellent campaigns.
Perform retrospective reviews of activity to determine their effectiveness and make recommendations for the future, presenting back to stakeholders where relevant.

What you need:

Strong organisational and administrative skills, coupled with the ability to problem solve.
Ability to manage a fast paced workload.
Be able to prioritize effectively, work at pace and demonstrate attention to detail.
A strong customer focus and the ability to clearly define objectives, propositions and briefs to ensure activity lands right first time.
Confidence to influence decisions at all levels.
Flexible approach, happy to travel.
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and being part of a team that should inspire and creates a buzz for others.
Strong personal management skills and be highly competent with all Microsoft Office.
Experience of e-commerce gained from working with a high profile branded or transactional lifestyle website would be advantageous.
