Brigadiers, which opens in Summer 2018 in the Bloomberg Arcade, will be a contemporary Indian barbecue and beer tavern inspired by the army mess bars of India, where regiments go to eat, drink and socialise. A reception will lead guests into a myriad of rooms including a dining room, a bar stocked with over 30 different beers and enviable whisky selection, a taps room, and three private dining rooms including a ‘pot luck’ conservatory. Encouraging socialising and comradery, live sport will be shown on demand across selected rooms, while a pool table and classic card games will be offered for those who wish to play while they eat and drink.

We are seeking a talented Reception Manager to be part of this unique and exciting opportunity.

You will be responsible for:
• Ensuring a welcoming and engaging first impression and an exceptional guest experience;
• Training and inspiring the reception team to deliver exceptional standards at all times;
• Handling guest queries in a polite, professional and diplomatic manner;
• Effectively managing bookings and walk-ins to maximise covers during service;
• Building rapport and long term relationships with guests.

The successful Reception Manager will have:
• Prior experience as a Reception Manager or Head Receptionist / Maître d’ within a quality hospitality environment;
• A charming and engaging persona, along with a hands-on and can-do attitude;
• A proven ability to lead, motivate and train a team;
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and time-management skills;
• A working knowledge of Quadranet and Fourth Hospitality systems (preferred);
• Passion for and a comprehensive knowledge of the hospitality industry.
