Security Officer - Ham Yard Hotel

We are currently recruiting for a full time Security Officer to join our busy team located at the Ham Yard Hotel.

Taking direction from the Duty Manager, you will run the security operation of the hotel ensuring the safety and security of our guests at all times. Understanding what it means to deliver exceptional customer service and be able to exceed guest’s expectations is imperative to this role. You should have a warm, friendly and welcoming manner, and genuinely care about the guest experience as well as their safety and security.

Main Duties

  • Welcome the guests to the hotel in a warm and professional manner
  • Ensure the safety and security of our guests and staff
  • Make recommendations for guests
  • Regular security walks
  • To maintain and deliver consistent Firmdale standards
  • Upsell the hotel facilities
  • Problem solving

Skills 

  • SIA Licence
  • Previous experience working as a Security Officer within a hotel environment
  • Knowledge of London
  • Flexibility
  • Confident
  • Excellent communications  and customer service skills
  • A good approach to teamwork
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Superb attention to detail

Hours Required:

42 hours per week (4 on 4 off)- weekends will be required occasionally 

This role is Days and Nights shifts on rota
