Working on a full-time permanent basis we are looking for a restaurant host/hostess to greet our members and their guests and support the waiting staff team during service to deliver a 5* customer experience.  In order to be successful in this position the right candidate will have extensive restaurant and customer service experience, a great personality, winning smile and overall willingness to be part of a team.

Reporting to the supervisors and managers on duty, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Greeting our members and their guests when they arrive in the restaurant, seating them, and taking their drink orders. 
• Be a constant presence on the restaurant floor, dealing with customer queries in the absence of the waiting staff / supervisor / managers and relaying this to the team. 
• Being proactive in service when necessary and at the direction of the manager / supervisor on duty. 
• Control the seating plan with the guidance of the manager / supervisor on duty to make sure that all tables are maximised to their best sales potential. 

You must have the following:

• Have at least 1-year experience in a similar role in a busy environment
• Be able to work full-time hours and be flexible for any day of the week - this is not an option for a part time role or someone that is studying. 
• Have a serious passion for excellent service, a keen interest in food and drink and mindfulness. 
• Great communication skills in English (which must be spoken at all times)
• Have the right to live and work in the UK
