The purpose of the role is to provide IT support to all Skinsmiths staff, both in our Support Office and our clinics. The role will be part of the wider Skinsmiths IT Team and be responsible for the provision and support of a standard set of technology to all staff.  

Key Responsibilities

User support 

  • Processing and resolving incoming IT Help Desk requests  
  • PC, Phone, Tablet Builds and installs at clinics  
  • Office 365 and Active Directory Administration 
  • Level 1 troubleshooting of all hardware and software issues 
  • Deskside support 
  • Remote support 
  • Escalation to Level 2 and 3 support teams 

Procurement and vendor liaisons

  • Obtain pricing, order equipment 
  • Liaise with external IT service suppliers as required to achieve results 

Documentation and Process development 

  • Work with the wider team to develop and implement processes as required 
  • Record asset information in the asset management system 
  • Document work when changes have been made 

 Project Delivery

  • Provide expertise to key systems projects as required by the Skinsmiths UK team 
  • Research technology solutions for projects as required 

Personal Development 

  • Undertake training as required to excel in the role 
  • Attend relevant conferences and industry events  
  • Participate in company-wide initiatives 

Key Competencies

  • IT Tertiary qualified  
  • Experience with administration of Office 365 
  • Windows 10 administration experience 
  • Working knowledge of basic Office 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) 
  • An understanding of cloud computing concepts (SaaS, subscription, mobile working)  

Nice to have 

  • Experience in some of the more advanced Office 365 tools (Microsoft Flow, PowerBI, SharePoint) 
  • An understanding of ITIL service management principles 
  • Working knowledge of Group Policy
