Forest Retreat Team Leader - Beddgelert, Snowdonia

One of our most varied roles, our Forest Retreat Team Leaders support the Forest Retreat Manager in the everyday running of our on-location shop, take-away café, and reception. Managing all aspects of the Forest Retreat is a demanding, but rewarding, role that helps to create extraordinary experiences for our guests.

Duties include: opening and closing the Forest Retreat, delegating tasks to the team, communicating with guests and activity suppliers, cash handling, ordering, food safety and ensuring the retail area is fully stocked and priced.

As you’ll be responsible for making sure the Forest Retreat is merchandised to our high brand standards, you’ll need to be organised and have an eye for detail. Our Forest Retreat Team Leaders are always willing to help, flexible, hard-working team players who make the most of the natural environment they work in. They are also knowledgeable about our product and the surrounding area and are able to establish a report with our guests.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be friendly, able to communicate effectively to people of all ages, and able to work well under pressure and think on your feet. If you have previous experience which includes customer service, managing people, inventory and cash management, ideally within a retail or food and beverage environment, then we’d love to hear from you!
