Project Manager - Business Change - Shore Based - Southampton

The Maritime organisation aligns all of the key elements of Maritime operations together with integrated strategy, planning and operational delivery. It unifies both Ship and Shore as a cohesive team and ensures that the fleet is operated in a safe, reliable, efficient and compliant way.  Maritime is responsible for delivering refits and projects across the CUK fleet and this role will support one or more of those projects.  Maritime is entering an exciting phase as we transform the operation to get ready to introduce 3 brand new ships into our Fleet.

The role of the Business Change Project Manager is to lead the delivery of agreed change & transformational projects within Maritime which will introduce new ways of working through policy and procedural changes. Projects that are managed by this team are often large capital expenditure projects that have significant technical elements.  Please see the job spec attached for full details of duties and responsibilties. 

About you                

  • Previous and proven experience of working in a complex project environment, where resource is limited and operational pressures take priority
  • Comfortable working in technical environment
  • Management technical suppliers and resources.
  • Experience of delivering and embedding change.
  • Managing multiple work streams/projects simultaneously
  • Experience of continuous improvement techniques.
  • Degree or equivalent
  • PMI PMP, APM or Prince2 Practitioner
