Restaurant Assistant - Crawley
Debenhams are on a mission to make shopping confidence-boosting, sociable and fun.
Our restaurants play a big part in this and that’s why we want every customer to leave feeling valued, and eager to spread the word.
We want to be famous for delivering that unique Debenhams experience – and this starts with our people and the way we all work together.
What you will bring…
We look to our Restaurant Assistants to create a memorable and engaging hospitality experience for our customers, leaving a lasting impression for all the right reasons. We’d like to hear from candidates who are passionate about food, love working as part of a team, and would be proud to act as a service ambassador.
What you will be doing…
Our Restaurant Assistants take pride in getting to know our customers, delivering the best experience for them whilst they take a break from shopping. This could be offering efficient and friendly service at the tills, preparing and serving tasty food and drinks, or ensuring the restaurant is a clean and welcoming environment. You will be on hand to confidently advise on products, creating surprising and shareable moments every day.
When you’ll be doing it…
Our stores are open 363 days a year, and we want our customers to enjoy a seamless experience whenever they choose to visit. We operate a seven day shift pattern, and this role will require you to have the flexibility to work 5 variable days per week.
What you will get in return…
· Up to 25% discount in stores and online after a qualifying period
· Access to external discounts and promotions through Perks@Debenhams
· Access to the Debenhams Pension Savings Plan
· A friendly and supportive working environment where colleagues are valued and learning opportunities are available
Our roles can receive high volumes of applications and we may need to occasionally close a vacancy before the published expiry date. We don’t want you to miss out so recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible.
Everyone is someone at Debenhams, who will you be?
