to join our Front of House Team

Reception Shift Leader Overview:

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about providing first class customer service to exceed our guests’ expectations.The role of the Reception Shift Leader is to assist the Reception Manager in the smooth running of Reception, Switchboard and Night Audit. To provide traditional hospitality and service excellence, offering a warm welcome to guests, whilst achieving agreed sales targets with a pro-active approach to existing and potential guests. You will be working in one of the country’s foremost heritage hotels and one of the AA’s Top 200 Hotels in the UK and Ireland; we are proud members of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Condé Nast Johansens. 

Attributes/Experience:

You will possess excellent communication and customer care skills and have the ability to inspire and manage the Reception team; one to one training and good attendance management skills are essential.          

Hotel reception experience is required along with good IT Skills (Word/Excel), knowledge of Fidelio Opera Reservation and Rooms Management System and Telephone Switchboards.

Knowledge of Point of Sales Systems, NVQ Supervisor Level or equivalent and a 2nd language are all desirable.
