The Reservationist role:-

• The Reservationist role involves dealing with all sales enquiries in Reservations for our luxury 5 star 228 bedroom hotel.
• Duties will include accurately taking all reservations and guest bookings using our computer system together with administration and liaising with the Reception team and Conference Office.
• Reservations work to our yield management system to ensure that occupancy and average room rates are maximized.

The Reservationist will:-

• Possess a 'can do' attitude, attention to detail and be able to use your own initiative.
• Be computer literate and have the ability to use a telephone switchboard with a good telephone manner.
• Have excellent customer service skills.
• Possess a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Have the ability to work under pressure, dealing with lots of information at once, and always with a smile on your face.
• Be able to demonstrate experience gained in the hotel reception, reservations, travel trade or other relevant background.
• Have outstanding communication and yield management skills, with proven success in a similar sales orientated role where monthly budgets and targets have been achieved.
