The Balmoral Hotel is thrilled to embark on an exciting new chapter as we look forward to the unique alliance between the Roux and Forte Families, with our launch of Brasserie Prince by Alain Roux in May 2018.

Our new bar and brasserie will pride itself on the quality of its team members and we are looking for experienced, dedicated and charismatic individuals to work in a fast paced, vibrant and dynamic environment.

As Restaurant Manager you will be a professional within the management team at the hotel and be responsible for the flawless running of our restaurant by developing the team and ensuring they provide exceptional personal guest service. You will be responsible for the development of your team to work to the correct standards and exceed guest expectations, so that our reputation grows and our staff and guest retention increases.You will ensure that departmental goals and targets are achieved whilst ensuring the achievement of optimum profitability and maintaining the financial control of the department. You will work closely with the management team to continue to grow the reputation of the restaurant as one of the city’s most renowned dining destinations. A strong knowledge of quality food and wine is essential for this role as is a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service; leading by example and developing skills and knowledge within your team. You will be an excellent and confident communicator with exceptional people skills, with the ability to develop your team to deliver an outstanding product and guest service. You will be passionate about your team and, ideally, have previous experience of training, leading or supervising a team within a similar role in a quality hotel environment.
