Credit Controller. Welcome Break Support Centre

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our support centre at Vantage Court, Newport Pagnell

To make it as a credit controller, you’ll need to have:

  • Good Communication Skills
  • Worked with a wide and diverse range of people
  • Can make the tough calls and challenge the norm / non-compliance
  • High integrity

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Accurate Management of Credit Trade accounts
  • Investigation of discrepancies in payments received to eliminate potential bad debts
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of Hotel Debtor Control Account
  • Credit Control of External & Hotel Debtor accounts
  • Payment collection runs for direct debit accounts
  • Processing of Sales Invoices/Credit Note requests
  • Produce regular Aged Debt Summary Reports (inter month and month end) to highlight possible risk to the company
  • Provide credit reference information as requested
  • Provide cover for other areas of the team as necessary

 

Key Tasks & Routines:

  • Carry out credit control tasks in line with company procedures i.e. Debtors Policy
  • Timely and accurate raising of invoices/credit notes
  • Timely and accurate allocation of all payments received
  • Payment collection runs generated in accordance with BACS regulations and company procedures
  • Hotel Debtors Control Account cleared on a weekly basis
  • Maintenance of KPI data
  • Timely production of credit references from relevant agency in respect of both existing and potential customers/suppliers
 Your Experience:To thrive in this role you will have:
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
  • Previous Sales Ledger/Credit Control Experience
  • Operating Knowledge of hotel systems
  • Basic accounting knowledge
